Optometrist

Henry Hantman BSc (Hons), Dip.Opt.

Henry registered as an Optometrist in August 1982 and has accumulated over 35 years of experience in both private optical practices and with Boots Opticians. During 1984-5, he worked in the Norman Bier Associates Contact Lens Specialist Practice in London. He has been working with Barnett Opticians since 2011.

Henry is GOC registered. He usually available in the practice for consultation on Mondays, Thursdays and alternate Tuesdays.
He is known for his good sense of humour and is extremely popular with our patients.

Dispensing Optician

​Vaishali Mehta MBA, BSc (Hons) Ophthalmic Dispensing with Physics

Vaishali joined the practice in January 2020 as a full time Dispensing Optician. She began her optics career working for David Clulow and qualified as a registered Dispensing Optician in 2002. She was very successful, winning awards and a trip to New York for her Dispensing work.
She is a bubbly and enthusiastic Optician, with experience working for both high end independent and multiple practices.
Vaishali is proud to work at a professional practice where best patient care is paramount. Being part of a team is important to her. She greatly values the relaxed family atmosphere that the practice offers.
She is registered with the General Optical Council.

​Alpa Rajdev

Alpa supports the team as a part time dispensing optician. Alpa is GOC registered.
